Introduction

Both the My StudyNZ matching tool and Study in New Zealand’s search tool draw their data from the information about your institution on the Study in New Zealand database.

All institutions can access the database and manage their information through our administration platform.

A great institution profile is important, but so is the other information you can manage on the Study in New Zealand administration platform – especially course information.

We upgrade data for all institutions twice a year, but don’t do any upgrades in between and don't have access to any course information that isn’t publicly available on our own website.

Therefore, regularly checking your own profile and course information is the only way to make sure your institution is promoted in the way you want it to be.

Any updates you make will be visible on the site within 24 hours.

Update your course information

You can make any updates to your course information on your institution’s Study in New Zealand profile by using our admin platform to ensure My StudyNZ is able to accurately match students with your institution.

Most courses will have been preloaded for you but you can add, delete or modify the information as needed.

Each course must include ‘delivery’ details such as study mode, start date, cost, venue and duration.

These fields are used by both the Study in New Zealand search tool and My StudyNZ matching tool. Make sure that every field is filled in correctly, as the fields are what the tools draw content from the profile description.

There are lots of tips on the platform to help you fill out course information.

How to check your course information is up to date:

Step 1

Go to the main menu, find the My course info tab and click on 'View and edit courses'.

Step 2

Check your course details to ensure they are up to date. Click on a course to view and modify details such as description and admission requirements.

Step 3

You can also modify a course’s delivery details to include costs, start dates and campus (venue).

Update scholarships

Like courses, most scholarships will have been preloaded. However you can add, delete or modify this information.

How is your profile performing?

Find out how your profile is performing by accessing My Stats which gives you access to valuable insights on how students are interacting with your profile.

My Stats enables you to:

• Find out how many students are visiting your profile and what areas they are clicking through to i.e. courses, scholarships, campuses and departments.
• Discover how many interactions your pages have generated. For example, how many clicks has there been through to your official website or how many clicks have gone through to the enquiry form.
• Export this data into spreadsheets for better handling and for reporting purposes.

My Stats is available from within the main home page of your institutions’ admin platform after your login just follow the simple instructions below:

While ENZ updates profiles data for all institutions twice a year, we encourage you to update your course information regularly to ensures your institution is up to date and displays accurately in Study in New Zealand and My StudyNZ.
